Getting Here

Situated just off Junction 19 of the M8 motorway, the SECC is within five minutes drive of the city centre and 15 minutes from Glasgow International Airport. The SECC has its own railway station and bus terminal linking with Glasgow's excellent public transport system.

By Road

Leave the M8 motorway at junction 19 and join the westbound Clydeside Expressway (A814). Westbound on the Expressway (A814) take cut off signposted SECC East. Turn left at traffic signals and take the right lane to access multi-storey parking at the venue.

Car Parking

Parking is in Car Park 7 - see the map at the bottom of the page for more details.

A wheelchair and mobility assistance buggy will run between the Multi Storey Car Park and the SECC’s East entrance (Independent Living Scotland - Hall 3) located at 10 Stobcross Road, Glasgow, G3 8YW. The postcode is G3 8YW for your SatNav. Please note - parking is free of charge if you have registered in advance for free show entry tickets. You will be sent details of your free entry parking one week before the show opens.

Additional parking is available at the multi-storey car park (MSCP) at the SECC, operated by City Parking (Glasgow) LLP, is the main parking area used for events at the venue. This facility is located at 10 Stobcross Road, Glasgow, G3 8YW. For a map and directional information visit the SECC website. On-site pay machines are located on level 2 (walkway level) and ground floor main foyer of the car park. Payment can be made by cash or credit/debit card. Tariff Rates in the MSCP Monday to Sunday are:

1 hour £3.50

2-12 hours £7.00

13 hours £10.50

14-24 Hours £14.00

Visitors can either pre-pay after arrival or pay before exiting.

By Train

Glasgow's Central Station is connected with every city in the UK, while Queen Street Station serves central and northern Scotland. Once you're in Glasgow, trains run to the SECC from the city centre with a journey time of just three minutes.

The Exhibition Centre Station is the SECC's own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. Six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Central station (Platform 17 is on the lower level) will bring you to Exhibition Centre station. A  lift is available to take you from the train station to street level. A covered walkway then leads from the station exit directly to the East entrance of the main SECC building.
