Getting Here

Situated just off Junction 19 of the M8 motorway, the SEC is within five minutes drive of the city centre and 15 minutes from Glasgow International Airport. The SEC has its own railway station and bus terminal linking with Glasgow's excellent public transport system.

By Road

Leave the M8 motorway at junction 19 and join the westbound Clydeside Expressway (A814). Westbound on the Expressway (A814) take cut off signposted SEC East.

Parking is in Car Park 7 - see the map at the bottom of the page for more details.

A wheelchair and mobility assistance buggy will run between the SEC’s East entrance and Independent Living Scotland - Hall 3.  Postcode is G3 8YW for your SatNav.

Please note - PARKING IS FREE of charge if you have registered in advance for free show entry tickets. Free parking is only available in the open air car park to the west of the SEC.  There will be stewards on site to direct you to the appropriate space.

Additional parking is available at the multi-storey car park (MSCP) at the SEC, operated by City Parking (Glasgow) LLP, and parking here will be charged at the operator rate. This facility is located at 10 Stobcross Road, Glasgow, G3 8YW. For a map and directional information visit the SEC website. By Train

Glasgow's Central Station is connected with every city in the UK, while Queen Street Station serves central and northern Scotland. Once you're in Glasgow, trains run to the SEC from the city centre with a journey time of just three minutes.

The Exhibition Centre Station is the SEC's own dedicated railway station allowing easy access from the city centre and the suburbs. Six trains an hour (around every 10 minutes) from Central station (Platform 17 is on the lower level) will bring you to Exhibition Centre station.  A lift is available to take you from the train station to street level. A covered walkway then leads from the station exit directly to the East entrance of the main SEC building.
