Independent Living Scotland takes place in Hall 3 at the SEC, Glasgow. The SEC main building has automatic doors at both East and West entrances and all halls are situated at ground level.


The Medical Centre has a limited number of wheelchairs that visitors may 'borrow' for the duration of their visit. Wheelchairs are allocated on a first come, first served basis and can be booked the day before your visit.

Please note that wheelchairs can only be 'borrowed' for a day at a time. To book a wheelchair or for further information please email the medical team here, call them on 0141 275 6333 or drop into the Medical Centre.

Hearing Impairments

Reception in the SEC has an induction loop system.


The SEC has disabled and accessible toilets situated on the main concourse and in all exhibition/event halls. Radar keys for accessing disabled toilets are available from a member of staff or to purchase from the Information & Business Centre on the main concourse.

There are also disabled toilets available within the hall.
